On anniversary of win: trauma-center town hall

This December, on the one year anniversary of the announcement that the University of Chicago hospital would open a trauma center, STOP youth led a Townhall to discuss what kinds of programs this trauma center should have.

We discussed violence prevention, intervention, and after care and how the University of Chicago Hospital should make a significant investment in these programs. Leaders from Ceasefire and Healing Hurt People spoke.

We will continue to organize to ensure that youth and community have a voice in programs at the trauma center.
