Also note: The venue doesn’t allow us to exchange cash at the gala, so please buy drinks (here) in advance. And spread the word so others do likewise!
If you haven’t heard, we and Not Me We are merging! We’ll become one organization called “Southside Together.” So we’ll be celebrating STOP’s 20th anniversary, AND Not Me We’s 4th anniversary, AND the future we’re creating together.

• dinner buffet by Fanfares Catering - they did the Obama wedding at the Cultural Center
• DJ BSyde, who really got folks dancing at our last gala
• a dance floor, a bar, and
• the Afro jazz house band Book of Timothy - featuring percussionist Christiana Powell, the STOP member who stood up to racist developers evicting her.
As for the ticket price: we set it to be as accessible as possible to our community, but if you have more money, fear not: During the gala program, we’ll share more about our work and invite you to donate more to support it :)
Finally, note that if you buy a ticket as a donation, you can always contact us to convert it into a ticket to attend.
