Our 2023 gala

Donate from afar, and/or come to our BIGGEST-EVER gala! Enjoy a buffet, live band, DJ, dance floor, and cash bar as we celebrate and raise more funds for STOP’s ever-growing work.

Tickets are discounted until October 4 (down from $60). We set the ticket price to be as accessible as possible to our community, but if you have more money, fear not: During the gala program, we’ll share more about our work and invite you to donate more to support it :)

Just since last year’s gala, we’ve won three new free mental-health clinics — the first since we started fighting their closure in 2007. AND we’ve won a five-year campaign to replace all Chicago Public Schools police with alternatives like restorative justice. AND we held our biggest-ever event, a CBA summit with Mayor Johnson. All this on top of two decades of historic victories like winning the trauma center at the University of Chicago hospital.
